I don't normally go to Walgreens, CVS or Riteaid unless I need something that I can't get at Target or I just happen to be near one when I need something. But between blogs like Sense to Save and Hooray for Free-bates, among others, I've become convinced that there are good deals to be had at these stores. You just have to work a little harder for them.
So as I went through the Sunday paper this morning, I flipped quickly through the drugstore circulars and found a Walgreens coupon for 89 cent Kleenex boxes (80 or 120 count; limit of four). I also clipped a manufacturer coupon for 50 cents off three boxes of Kleenex.
We went to Walgreens and I found the Kleenex. My total for four boxes was $3.35 (using both coupons), or 84 cents per box including tax, which is an amazing deal around here. If I want to send in the mail-in rebate, I can get an additional $1 back from Walgreens ($1.10 if I have the rebate put on a Walgreens giftcard).

Good work! Be sure to send in for that rebate--it's worth the stamp.
ReplyDeleteAlso, there's a bunch of free-after-rebate deals going on for February for Walgreens. I don't have the details yet, but I've heard they include shampoos, makeups, and a few other nifty items.
Thanks, Kacie! I saw that there is a FAR on Garnier Nutrisse shampoo or conditioner so I am definitely planning to go back :D
ReplyDeleteI am so glad that we are inspiring you to search out those deals! Thank you for reading!
ReplyDeleteThere ARE a lot of free-bates in this month's Walgreens Easy Saver. Check out our recent post!
